Services

All puppies will come to you with the following services and guarantees.

Docked Tails

Docking is the removal of portions of an animal's tail and is done before the 3rd day of life to ensure there is no undo pain for the puppies. The nerve in the tail does not develop until after the 3rd day.

Dew Claws Removed

A dewclaw (commonly referred to as a Dog's thumb) is a vestigial didgit on the foot of many mammals, birds, and reptiles. It commonly grows high on the leg so that when the animal is standing, it does not make contact with the ground and is thus not necessary. These are also removed before day 3 to prevent undo pain to the puppies.

1st Shots

Puppies need regular vaccinations every two to four weeks until they are at least 14 weeks of age. Puppies leave the mother by week 8 so you will have to keep up the vaccination schedule. Most vets follow a similar time frame for shots, although there may be some variation from state to state.

Dewormed

Puppies should be dewormed at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks of age, then again at 6 and 12 months. Then, it’s prudent to put them on a monthly heartworm preventative for life that also protects the dog against other parasites.

ACC Registered

The American Cockapoo Club is a Registry and a club that is dedicated to promoting the Cockapoo as a breed unto its own, while encouraging and supporting its Cockapoo breeder members. Their web site is also intended to help educate the general public about Cockapoos, as well as provide information on how to care for your puppy.
